Bernhard Schweizer

Bernhard Schweizer is the Head of SAP Digital Currency Hub. Being with SAP for more than 30 years, he is leading SAP’s effort to facilitate payments with digital currencies. Before Bernhard was amongst others responsible for the go-to-market activities of SAP IoT and led an internal start-up introducing a digital health care solution improving the care process for chronic diseases by connecting patients and doctors based on medical sensor data. He is a father of two sons, active in the Rhine-Neckar Metropolitan Region as a member of Lichtblick e.V. and was establishing and leading a joint venture of SAP, Roche, BASF, Merck, and 4 other shareholders from 2008 to 2011 with the mission of bringing together researchers from business and science for joint research and knowledge transfer.
